TRENDING: Esther Yu and Zhang Binbin's "A Romance of the Little Forest" Douban Score Dropped

It's not a new tale to see Douban score of Chinese dramas keep changing. However, the new drama of Zhang Binbin and Yu Shuxin (Esther Yu) drops from 6.6 to 6.1 in less than one day.

Aired right after Yu Shuxin's hit drama "Love Between Fairy and Devil" with which many new CP fans emerged for her and the "Meteor Garden" star Wang Hedi (Dylan Wang), many expected this drama to do great.

A lot of reviews with three stars and below cite the reasons of less-polished script with overly done tropes, unrelatability to the female lead's expression of affection and too much screen time for the second CP. 

While Douban score is still considered the main score for many Chinese dramas, some fans cite water army (paid commenters) could intentionally score low for the drama, especially when it dropped overnight. Others think the previous CP of "Love Between Fairy and Devil" overpowered that of "A Romance of the Little Forest".

The topic "Yu Shuxin and Zhang Binbin A Romance of the Little Forest Score Dropped" is at No.2 among top hot searches on the Entertainment List as of the time of writing. On a side note, "Bai Lu followed Yu Shuxin on ins" (ins = Instagram) is also a top hot search at the moment.
