Gong Jun is the Cosmopolitan Cover Boy for November

The busy idol who is filming dramas non-stop takes the cover of Cosmopolitan China for November.

With the harvest theme with a playful touch, Gong Jun is the representation of those with an inner child on the cover.

In usual Cosmo's vibe, Gong Jun pulls of every eccentric looks in the full spread.

Since the idol-actor is currently filming "Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Yue Hong" with Yang Mi, he talks a bit about his role to the Cosmo. He emphasized that Dongfang Yuechu from "Fox Spirit Matchmaker" is different from his previous characters and it allows him to have a dialogue with his inner child. "Yuechu in early episodes are very much like a child, it is very different from majority of characters I have acted for, so I have to make myself happy and excited as much as possible to achieve this challenge of "Teenager feeling", explained the male lead of the costume drama.

As cliché as it might sound, being in the constant spotlight since the hit drama "Word of Honor" isn't all flowery road for Gong Jun either. About the challenges he face, Gong Jun shared, "The hardships and setbacks brought maturity to me, making my mind more resolute but my attitude wouldn't change much. I like to think how I like to think, anyway, this is how I am like."

Regarding the preferred roles, Gong Jun mentioned that he is willing to act in a role with no visual value by destroying the "good look".

About the future, the 29 years old actor said he does not want to stay in the comfort zone as if acting is the assembly-line job. "I always have crisis awareness, but no matter how we put it, it will always urge me (to go further)."

Despite acknowledging his learning progress saying "I wasn't born to act, I need to think it through and comprehend more", Gong Jun has two more dramas in store: "Rising with the Wind" and "Legend of Anle" and "Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Yue Hong" to be wrapped up.
