Lai Guanlin and Xuan Lu's Upcoming Modern Drama Confirms Cast and Filming Schedule

Lai Guanlin and Xuan Lu's new drama has been confirmed with a booting ceremony on October 13!

"Daydream Confession" (白日梦告白书) is an upcoming Web drama based on the novel of the same name. It tells a story of daydreams coming true.

Lai Guanlin will play Lu Youyuan who is an editor-in-chef who is secretly loved by another editor. 

Xuan Lu will star two different roles: Dan Dan who likes fantasy stories and Baizhi who is in fact created by Dan Dan and her secret crush Lu Youyuan.

Making the story a love triangle is Wang Zhuocheng who will play Gu Wen, a best-selling novelist who gradually fells in love with Dan Dan. This is also a reunion of Jiang siblings (Xuan Lu and Wang Zhuocheng) from "The Untamed".

The story will unfold as the line between fantasy and reality is getting blurred. "Daydream confession" will also star Ning Xin and Peng Bo as well as Gao Yalin and Gan Lu as guest stars.

With filming period set for 60 days in Zhuhai, this 20-episode drama is directed by Kan Benben who has directed "Faith Makes Great". The drama is co-produced by Golden Seagull, Perfect World Pictures (The Flame's Daugther - 2018, The Legend of the Condor Heroes - 2017) and Flying Youth (Forward Forever - 2020, Handsome Siblings - 2020).
