"She and Her Perfect Husband" with Yang Mi and Xu Kai Premieres Tonight

With the hope that there would be no more postponement, drama fans rejoice as the much anticipated romance drama announced its premiere.

Last month, the drama is announced to premiere on October 13 yet cancelled afterwards due to "technical issues". 

"She and Her Perfect Husband" is a story of romance going right only after a forced marriage plan. 

Yang Mi will take on the role of Qin Shi who is a lawyer, a single and a career-focused woman. Xu Kai plays Yang Hua whose name is used on paper to make it appear that he is married to Qin Shi (Yang Mi). 

When Yang Hua (Xu Kai) is forced to attend a matchmaking session by his mother, he meets Qin Shi (Yang Mi) and they decided to make their paper marriage legal.

Also joined by Li Zefeng, Tang Jingmei, Wang Zixuan, Liu Lin and Yang Kun, the drama with Jie Di Lian (Cougar relationship) trope as Yang Mi is 9 years older than Xu Kai was filmed back in February and wrapped up in June last year.

The 40-episode drama, co-produced by Joying Media and Tencent Penguin Pictures, will air on Tencent Video and WeTV for international audience. The VIP members will have four episodes on the day of premiere followed by two episodes each on every Monday to Thursday. The drama will wrap its run on November 14 for VIP members and January 6 for non-VIP members.
